FC25 Ultimate Team Wrapped : A Year of Football, Designed by Me
The Backstory — From the thought to the Prototype
I’m a designer — but when I’m not in Figma, I’m probably grinding Rivals , sweating it out in Weekend League, or running the FUTMARKET 😉. I have been playing FIFA since FIFA 07 with my brother, but it wasn’t until FIFA 22 that I touched the online scene: and not until late into FUT 23 that I dove into Ultimate Team.
That changed everything. By FC24, I was fully in — rivals, champs, SBCs, swapping tactics. And by FC25, it became my default post-work escape — the thing I played to unwind between design sprints.
Then it hit me:
While other gamers post throwbacks videos or imges from 2015 FUT teams found in archives, I couldn’t remember who I packed 3 months ago. "Did I really pack JayZ on the first day of thunderstruck this cycle? What was my best rank this year? What formation worked best ? " I knew I had played a wild amount, but there was no way to look back and see the journey.
I thought : Why doesn’t Ultimate Team have a Wrapped?
Like Spotify Wrapped — but for Ultimate Team. That was my spark.
The Problem — No Way to Look Back
FIFA Ultimate Team is one of the most data-rich, emotionally driven gaming experiences out there. Yet :
• There’s no timeline or stats dashboard to reflect your year in play. (Yeah we are not counting the WL record in stadiums)
• Users have no visibility into their journey — no visual memory of teams, ranks, packs, or progress.
• Even with the same EA account for years, there’s no way to revisit your FUT history.
So I asked myself:
• What if there was a personal, immersive, end-of-year wrap-up just for you?
• What if you could relive your FC25 journey like PS Wrapped/Spotify Wrapped?

The Challenge — Make It Personal, Shareable, and Futuristic
I didn’t want to just build a stat viewer — this needed to feel like a full experience.
FC25 Wrapped had to be:
• 🖥️ Web-first: Designed as a responsive web app experience, inspired by the FC companion web app (yeah i'm a web app merchant). I envisioned this being something you’d view on your browser or desktop just like PS wrapped another inspiration of mine — like a trophy room you’d want to revisit.
• 📱 Mobile-adaptable: Styled like the EA FC Companion App, with a compact view that still captured the magic on smaller screens. The mobile version wasn’t just an afterthought — it was crafted to feel native and engaging.
• Insightful: Not just data — but personal storytelling. Each screen reflects your FUT journey across the year.
• Shareable: Designed with flex-worthy visuals and social media hooks in mind.
• Modular: Built like a real product — flexible enough to evolve, scale, or even be integrated officially (looking at you, EA 👀).
In the end, I imagine this could live anywhere : web, mobile, maybe even on your console — but for now, this design focuses on delivering a polished web-first experience with a mobile companion adaptation.
UX Strategy & Flow Breakdown
I built FC25 Wrapped like a narrative. Not just a dashboard ; a scrollable, shareable story.
It opens with a bold, celebratory landing page that feels like a digital trophy room. Once inside, players relive their year through themed modules — from grind stats to market wins, tactical identity, and pack luck. Each section focuses on a core aspect of the Ultimate Team experience.
The flow moves from year-long performance stats and tactical DNA to the emotional highs of pack luck and SBC grinds. Screens like Power Club, Starting XI, and Customization showcase the identity players built over the season, while Achievements highlight moments like longest win streaks or Weekend League highs.
It all ends with a Wrapped Summary — a visual highlight reel and a social CTA: Share Your Wrapped.
Think of it like Spotify Wrapped — but built for Ultimate Team nerds.

Here’s a visual scroll-through of some of the key screens, designed for both web and mobile. From tactical identity to pack luck, every module is crafted to feel like your personal FUT trophy room.
Mobile Companion App
FC25 Wrapped isn’t just for the browser. I also designed a mobile companion app version, styled like the EA FC Companion App. The compact layout still delivers the same storytelling impact, optimized for smaller screens.Whether you’re revisiting your best packs or flexing your stats in a WhatsApp group, the mobile experience makes it quick and shareable.
Closing Thoughts
This project blends my love for interaction design, storytelling, and creating experiences that feel both functional and emotional.
Whether it’s for gaming, e-commerce, productivity, or entirely new spaces, my approach stays the same:
• Understand the audience deeply
• Build around their journey and emotions
• Deliver an experience that’s worth remembering
